In a strategic move to enhance national data infrastructure and ensure uninterrupted digital operations, CDigital partnered with the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) to establish a fully integrated modular data centre on a turnkey basis at its Islamabad headquarters. This high-availability solution included modular data centre racks at both primary and disaster recovery (DR) sites, civil works, structured cabling, SAN storage, firewall security, SQL Server 2022, and Windows Server Datacenter Edition. The project was further strengthened by 100 KVA generator backup, a 2x2 video wall for real-time visibility, and modern backup appliances to ensure secure and resilient operations.

The data center has become a digital backbone for PBS—enabling secure data management, centralized IT control, and scalable compute infrastructure to support the Bureau’s growing digital needs. Advanced features such as endpoint threat protection, KVM consoles, and Unified Network Monitoring and Inventory Management Modules allow real-time oversight, asset tracking, and proactive threat alerts. Through custom workflows, auto discovery, and dashboarding tools, PBS now enjoys seamless visibility into its entire IT ecosystem. The project included migration of legacy systems, staff training, and ongoing SLA-based support, ensuring a future-ready setup that empowers PBS with operational efficiency, business continuity, and enhanced data security for critical national statistics.
